Why I support The Children's Hospital
The Children's Hospital is one of the best hospitals for young people in the United States. We have seen the miracles done in our own family as well as for numerous friends and their children. Children and their families come from the Rocky Mountain region, and even from across the United States, seeking treatment for illnesses and injuries at Children's. Also, Children's conducts more pediatric research than any other hospital in the Rocky Mountain region. This important research assists Children's in developing and refining life-saving treatments for young people.
Why I ride the Courage Classic
First and foremost, I ride to support The Children's Hospital. I've ridden every year, and look forward to the challenges of the Colorado high country and riding with the awesome young people of Team Courage. Supporting The Children's Hospital is a part of our family's summer tradition for these now 19 years. I ride so that the young people at Children's can live and enjoy life to the fullest.
Why you should support me
The Children's Hospital is a not-for-profit organization and relies heavily on support from donors to make sure that it has all the resources it needs to provide world-class care. Donations from Courage Classic supporters and sponsors help The Children's Hospital Sports Program, which helps kids with illnesses and injuries feel like kids by participating in activities like skiing, hiking and cycling. The rest of the funds go to Children's areas of greatest need. I've ridden every edition of the Courage Classic since 1990 and am proud to have raised over $30,000. My goal this year is $3,000. Please click the link above to make a donation. Thanks so much for your support. Whether you donate $50 or $5,000, you are making a critical difference in the life of a child and their families.
