Why I support The Children's Hospital

I fundraise so that Children's can employ the best pediatric specialists for kids, like Jaso. As a toddler in Uganda, Jaso received surgery on her esophagus after swallowing lye. Since being adopted into a Colorado family, Jaso visits Children's regularly to have her esophagus dilated whenever scar tissue from her original surgery makes eating difficult.

And I ride for kids like Ben, the 2009 Courage Classic ambassador, who excel beyond expectation with help from Children's. Doctors at Children's diagnosed Ben with Cerebral Palsy when he was 6 months old and he is still seen by Rehab providers and therapists. Ben joined Children's Hospital Sports Program several years ago. Since learning to ski, he tackles blue and black runs and even raced in NASTAR.
