My Rider #: 101061
Why I Ride
I can't wait to ride again! Last year was my first Courage Classic and it was simply incredible. Three days, 164 miles (we did an extra ride to the top of Loveland pass), through sun, wind and rain, 2000 riders raised over $2 million dollars to support The Children's Hospital. I am so grateful to the 100+ people who donated more than $13,000 in support of my ride, and contributed to the total $125,000 that our team, It's Up to Us raised for TCH. Thank you for considering supporting my 2010 ride- my personal goal is to raise $15,000, and our team goal is to raise more than $250,000, doubling what we raised last year. We are hoping to be- no- we will be- the highest fundraising team on the ride this year. We are doing this because we know that the success of TCH in providing the best care possible to children and families is "Up to Us". And our success in achieving our goals is Up to You. I hope we can count on you to support our ride and The Children's Hospital. I ride- we all ride- because we care and because it matters to kids. Thanks for giving generously.

Why I Support The Children's Hospital
Sonja was born in November 2008 with complex heart and digestive issues. Her parents founded Sonja’s Soldiers in her honor because, thanks to Children’s, baby Sonja is growing up – one day at a time.
Spencer was struck by a car while riding his bike when he was 6 years old. With Children’s help, he fought severe head injuries to become the healthy teen – and strong rider – he is today.
Nick was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 5 years old. His parents founded Team Nickcycle to support Children’s for providing him with the best possible treatment.
Ellaura rides to give back, she says. Now healthy and active at 17, she has been a neurology patient at Children’s since she was 4 years old.
